Anyone have pictures of a lazer tardiz with lens installed?

looks like the 2011 model has an optional lens.

they show it here: http://www.belgianheadcase.com/?p=280

but I wanted how it fits on someones head and how flush the lens gets to the edge of the helmet

I’m not sure where the lens goes though…

This was posted a while back, the pictures don’t seem to be working however.

I’m thinking of putting a visor on mine, ill get back to you if i do.

Kind of cool how they talk about the gloss paint and matte paint and trapping the air. Sounds mostly like marketing but he does say it is as aero in testing with tail down or up. I have a 2010 helmet did he say the visor will not work with that?? I am going to see if I can make that magnet strap myself or buy it to upgrade my helmet. That sounds like a good idea although I do nit know how good it will stay connected with a 25 mph crash and subsequent rolling hits to the ole noggin.

I too am waiting for this. I was ready to buy a 2010 tardiz or a Rudy Wingspan, but the roll fit sys, aquavent and the shield makes the 2011 Tardiz the right helmet for me.

assuming they both fit, go with the wingspan.
.

why do you feel that way? Have you had both? I have tried on the Lazer, not the Wingspan. The Rudy does have amazing reviews.

ive tried both, the lazer fits either really small or really big for me. i wouldve gone with the rudy except its a hair too small. i ended up going with the specialized tt2 b/c it fit perfectly.

its really hard to believe any claims made by lazer about its helmet.

I bit the bullet and purchased one of the new visors to see if it would fit my 2010 tardiz and it does, perfectly. It specifically says ‘only fits 2011 model’ but that is crap, it slots right in and all you need to do is push the small ‘hooks’ into the foam a tiny bit inside the helmet, I dont even think it will need any tape. If you have the 2010 model and want a visor, just pick one up off ebay and it will work absolutely fine.

I have a tardiz…love it. It’s the only aero helmet that fits me–I tried them ALL. How is the cutout above the ear cover aerodynamic. Isn’t a sharp angle like that the opposite of aero? I hoped the visor would cover it but it looks like it fits in and leaves that angle exposed…thoughts?

visor goes inside everything, there is a ‘lip’ at the top of the visor you slip under the pad at the front, and it comes around to about your temples. Does not interfere with anything (this comes after putting it on for about 30 seconds)

I just bought my lense on Amazon. Do you have pics of yours installed perhaps

Has any one else done there own lens attachment.

How do these visors do with sweat an or fogging? I sweat like crazy and am forever battling with sweat on my sunglasses. Have tried gutr headbands and halo headbands and sweat through them in minutes. Wonder if a visor being a little further out from my face wouldnt help with sweat?
Also how do you know if you have and 2010 or 2011? Txs

Bump to see if anyone has any more info/pics
