…So Im riding to work when I am going up a small rise in the road and I suddenly realize that it feels like I am sliding back off the seat. I shake it off and attribute it to early morning hallucinations…but I keep getting this feeling that my saddle is starting to point higher towards the sky. I finally shift my weight forward and push down on the nose of the saddle…and it tilts back down. ‘Crap’ I thought, the fix bolt must have somehow gotten loose, and now my saddle is acting like it has just swallowed some Viagra. Anyway, I get to work and take a look at it, and it seems that my M2 racer power module (the ONLY part on my bike that I paid retail for) has snapped both rails. I guess it must be the massive amounts of power Im generating with my tree-trunk-like quads (anyone who knows me knows the humor in this statement). So…I am in the middle of testing the power advantage of one pedal system over another (if I find one) and I need to make sure that I dont change any more variables in the experiment.
Does anyone have a power module that they would be willing to part with for $20-$30 bucks? Please let me know if you have one sitting idle and would like to give it a good home. I promise that I will try not to break it. Thanks!
