…they could time trial as badly as Andy Schleck?
I do! And while I’m at it, I’d love to climb mountains like him too!

Roger that!!
In my on TT start from a ramp, I looked like Contador.
From time to time, when I’m relatively fit (by my pathetic standards) I head to the Auckland Waterfront for the saturday morning TT. It’s a whopping 16km
I have found my best (or least bad) results come from accelerating firmly but not super hard, then riding the high limit on my HRM. I set it at 175BPM. I can hold that from about 1km until 16km. I’ve tried 180BPM but invariably the wheels fall off about 12km and I limp home at 160BPM wondering why I can’t see out of one eye and why the oonst oonst disco music is thumping in my head! LOL
I am truly embarassed by my times so won’t mention them here. Needless to say, Andy Schleck rides up Alp d’Huez faster than I TT on the flat!
Even the slowest pro rider can TT faster than the rest of us.*
It’s all relative.

Yep, true, but how much faster? havent you though of that?
While climbing like Andy would be amazing I would settle for climbing as fast as cavendish.
