Anyone else having issues with Nordictrack treadmills?

So I finally took the plunge and bought a treadmill for the house during the early days of Covid. Went with the Commercial 2950. It is a great treadmill, and I love the iFit program and the runs all over the world. The deck is just cushy enough without being a pillow, and the incline can go extrememly high.

Of course, it’s only great when it works, and in the last 10 months it has broken twice. The first time the motherboard had a fault within the first 6 weeks, and it took nearly a month for the service team to come and repair it.

Then it broke again about 2 weeks ago, and now they say its the motor. Still waiting on a repair team.

It’s not like its being used heavily. I prefer to run outside, and so I may run on it 1-2 times a month due to late work days or weather. The wife mainly walks and lightly runs, and again, maybe all total it gets used 3-4 times a week for low intensity stuff.

In short, did I get a lemon, or has anyone else had this kind of crap with their products?

I will say their customer service is awful. Routinely waiting on phone for 45 minutes, only to be told that I will hear from a service person in 1-2 weeks, and then wait a few more weeks for the part to be shipped to me, etc.

I bought a 1750 treadmill in March. Had an initial issue with the console display sporadically disconnecting.
Fast forward to November - had a short on the control board as well. Ever since the incline doesn’t work, and is stuck on 15% incline after replacing the incline motor and attempting I have since spent 20+ hours on the phone with IconFitness support. Had three service technicians come out, multiple replacement parts, yet still no functioning treadmill. At this point I have requested a new treadmill - I fear I am in a never ending cycle of trying to fix this.

I got the commercial 1750 in 2015. I haven’t done anything to it in terms of preventative maintenance. It gets used 4-7 days/week. We don’t really use the ifit program. The firmware seems like it can occasionally be glitchy, but from a mechanical perspective it squeaks a bit but always works as expected.
