Apparently not. Besides, there’s more than enough wind emanating from the nation’s capital. That’s where I’d suggest having the next conference. Texas has deregulated electricity provision. Tons of power switching going on but prices are rising and coal-fired plants are being built at higher rates than in the past. The upside is that energy efficiency on the part of consumers is increasing as price per kilowatt rises. And Texas is supplanting other states in terms of windpower technology and generation so that’s a plus, I suppose.
Sounds fascinating, but I’m not in the industry. I’d probably have a blast though.
The wind farms north of here on I-69 just north of Lafayette (IN) are pretty spectacular.

Yea they are. I remember the first time I saw them driving south on 65 after dark. It was actually kind of creepy.
