Does anyone have any experience in buying anything from Competitive Cyclist.com? Any feedback

what everyone else said they are basically alwasy msrp.

The have excellent customer service, and while they price alot of products at msrp, when they unload excess and old inventory, their prices are some of the best around.
Yes, very reputable outfit, though as others have said they may not always be the cheapest place. Their product descriptions and photos are top notch - they’ll almost suck you into buying that $280 pr of Assos shorts. Almost.
Add me to the list of satisfied customers.

Good people. Not cheap. But great service, and very knowledgeable.
Several years ago, I bought a clearance Pegoretti Fina Estampa frame from them. According to their own fit program, but it ended up being way to big. I had already built it up when I discovered the size issue. They took it back, no problem, for a full refund. I then bought a Merckx Team Sc frame from them I ordered a 48 sloping; they sent a 48 standard. When I discovered the problem, they refunded the frame immediately and were very apologetic.
2 years ago, I wrecked a rear ksyrium wheel. It was a few model years old, and I wanted a wheel to match the front ksyrium. I couldn’t find a wheel anywhere. I emailed CC, and the owner emailed me back … they happened to have a very lightly used wheel of the vintage I needed. They made me a killer deal, and I still ride that wheel now.
So yeah … good people.
They also have one of the most informative and well written websites on the cycling interwebs. Check out there ‘news’ section. It contains some of the best cycling journalism available.
Bought numerous things from them. Closeouts are very nice! Excellent service.
ditto on what everyone else said. I’ve purchased some apparel that was on sale. Had to swap out a size and they were very helpful.
I’d recommend them to anyone.
ditto. Bought two road frames on clearance from them at a good value. Excellent service. They are pricey at full price though.
Chad - I’ve bought some aerobar pars for my oval concepts bars that the LBS couldn’t get. Nothing big, but were helpful and responsive.
I think their website is fun to build bikes on.
I might want to buy some carbon compound from them, so if you are ordering from them, let me know and we can split shipping.
See you at swimming.

Throw me in the favorable experience camp too. Yeah, they are MSRP, but so is every other decent LBS. Reasons I like them: The employees know what they are talking about; They always treat me well when I call and ask questions; They didn’t harass me (or charge me a fee) when I needed to return something; and It’s very clear they care (a lot) about cycling, especially competitive cycling.Anyone who puts that much effort into product choice, reviews, and customer service deserves my business (so long as they never charge me more than MSRP like some LBSs do). No, I don’t buy all my cycling gear there, but I try to buy as much as I can from them (and from similar places too).
I think what Jascott said is pretty much THE key reasons for shopping at Competitive Cyclist.
Their customer service is awesome, their employees know what they’re talking about, and they deal with all the gee-gaw gadgets that your bike shp might carry, but knows squat about.
For example, Zero GRavity had a crankset in prototype (500-550 grams complete with BB) a few years ago and CC was one of the only shops to actually try the thing out…Never got made but CC was in the know about that when many shops weren’t.

I dealt with them a while back and had great success.

Oh, I do have one regret about Colorado Cyclist-- its location. They really should consider moving it to the mid-Atlantic region so I can take advantage of the bike demo program they have for locals:
For $50 a day you can test any of our bikes. We’ll fit you to bike(s) of your choice and show you some great ride options. If you ultimately buy a frameset or bike from us, we’ll credit that $50 towards your purchase.

Nuts!
I ordered from them last Friday and the package was here Wednesday. Item was “on sale” and a good price from what I researched. No problems.

I have made numerous purchases and have been pleased. One order included a jersey that ended up being too big. I mailed it back and they sent me a smaller size. I also mentioned that I did not think the jersey was really a great deal since I had to pay postage both ways.
The folks at CC e-mailed and told me that the next time I order, I can call it in and the postage will be on them. I thought that was pretty cool.
