They’re pretty inexpensive and also have a sale going on. But I don’t know if they’re just another in the long line if cheaper sunglasses that look cool but in reality are average at best. Just curious if anybody has used them?
I’ve raced in Blenders for years. They are great and are cheap enough that if they break you won’t cry or you need to toss them in the bushes to grab after a race you can.
The wrap around ones are great for running because they sit away from your face and sweat doesn’t run down them. Make sure you get the polarized ones. All their models are not polarized.
Great. Thanks. I’ve never tried the wrap around like they have
My only issue with the wrap around ones is they seem like they would be great for riding. Except the reason they are good for running is their downfall for riding. They sit far enough away from your face (at least mine) that you can get light casting between your face and the inside of the glasses when in your aero bars. The effect is this weird shadow casting that can be disorienting when moving at high speeds or in areas of shadowy cover.
I have done a few hot races with them. Overall really good fit, a bit tall so sometimes my helmet rides on the top of them. I switch out to a light pair of Oakley running glasses for the run.
Just to toss in additional information. My favorite “Cheap” riding glasses are Rockbros. 20 bucks, polarized, and fit so well I forget I’m wearing them. Even the basic ones vanish from vision when looking up from your aero bars.
