Curious what your experiences have been.
The fork holds the spinning wheel. Riders ranging from 100 lbs to 200 lbs easily control the bike. Never worry about spokes or rim tape. The myth of trispoke/fork drag turns out to be unfounded. Everyone fantasizes that Hed will sell a 19mm tire with good aerodynamics and low rolling resistance, but presently use the Bontrager AW19 or Continental SS20.
Hi juha,
Another Damon (Hi Damon Henry!) checking in here. Two tri spokes running in FK25s in our family.
Okay, one is an FK26, but same aero shape. See figures 4 & 5 and the summary table here:
http://www.cervelo.com/en/engineering/ask-the-engineers/the-p4-fork-a-prodigious-father.html
Also using Bontrager AeroWing 19 tires on both.
Cheers,
Thanks. I have one that I presently use with the chord fork on a P3. Have a P4 on the way and thought perhaps Cervelo had possibly tested the fork w/both the 808 or like vs. the Trispoke. I have a Spesh wheel that is a tubie running Conti podium TT in 22; may switch it to a 20 next season since I cut the tire rolling it over gravel.
Sort of curious what user experiences have been w/that fork & wheel combo. Even better would be actual testing of the fork/wheel combo.
Thank you for replying Damon and good to hear (I presume) trispokes pair well with FK25!
