I have a Hed aerobar with the s-bend extensions but I want to switch to the J-bends. I can’t find where to buy a cheap set of extensions. By ‘cheap’ I mean by triathlon standards. I don’t want to go the route of a bent water pipe from Home Depot but spending $100 for a couple metal tubes is difficult to justify.
Try Oval Concepts Aluminum extensions. Probably around $40.00. Profile design also has extensions that are reasonable.

Ask the local tri club. We are always changing things and throwing old stuff in a box. I give things away all the time

You could go hard core custom and order some aluminum from Aircraft Spruce and have it bent to your liking. Or you could intend to and still have two 3 foot lengths of aluminum taped to a board in your garage (doh).
