In our local paper today . . .
"Now the French sports daily L’Equipe is reporting that Lance Armstrong plagiarized his third grade essay, ‘What I Did on My summer Vacaation.’ "
:-).
Now that Lance is retired, can you spill the beans if Lance ever did use Powercranks in any significant way? Enquiring PC’ers want to know…
“can you spill the beans if Lance ever did use Powercranks in any significant way?”
I hear Lance was seen peeing on them in 1999.

Actually, I don’t know. About 30 people have told me he did, or they saw him on them, or a conversation with him suggested he did but I don’t know and have no proof. He did not get them directly from me although many of his training partners throughout the years have had one or more pair, going way back to Kevin Livingston. Also, I think it is how one might explain his documented 8% pedaling efficiency improvement without invoking the need for him change his muscle fibre configuration though.
If he did, it is clear, he didn’t ride them as I recommended, i.e., all the time. But, even so, if he would fess up maybe all these doping allegations might go away (fat chance) as his dominance could be explained in another way. And then our volume might go up which might allow us to lower our prices. Any of you have any influence with him?
