I am about to buy a few De Soto pads and figure their regular size fits my crappy stock Trek saddle but I am not sure about how it would fit my wifes crappy Avocet regular (NOT women’s) saddle. How snug are these things?

The original pad is real snug and only fits narrow saddles. They have another pad for wider saddles that you might want to check out.

I’m sorry, that’s what I meant to specifically imply. Will the wide saddle pade hang off like a limp ahem on anything other than a Wide/Woman’s saddle? Or is it preferrable for middle of the road 40-60 dollar saddles you find in most bike shops (i.e., not Aspides)?
I am probably pretty confusing since I can’t talk the talk!
