I have an 06 QR Caliente, and am a little poor but would love a new bike, need something new to look at. I maintain my bike so all components are in mint condition.
WOuld this bike be considered an up grade? Looks like a slightly modified P3.
Any options would be great!
the front of that bike looks enormously un-aero.
save your money. if you are going to spend it, get something truly better than what you have. in my judgment, this one is not a likely candidate.
If I was on a budget around 1K, I would eBay a P2C. If less then I would try for an older aluminum P3 or P2K. If you can’t find those, then you are probably not going to improve on your present bike for small money.

You can get that bike on boydbikes.com for 1050. Its more of a transition then anything I think. Another good one to look at is planet x bikes. Not as aero as a p2 or p3 but a good deal. 800 for frame/fork/seat post. You can go to your LBS and probably get a good deal on a P2C or Felt frame right now also. If you dont mind alum check out leader bikes. I would just save and wait for a great deal, since your not riding a junker.
