I have a set of wheels that use the AC hubs. The rear is the newer model w/o grease port. At any rate, after about 1,000 miles or so, the rear has developed a small amount of lateral movement and the wheel does not spin as smooth (i.e. bearings I guess) as it once did.
Anybody else had to deal with this issue with AC? How hard is it to fix? Thanks
Call them up - they have a toll free number. I don’t know if this is your problem or not, but occasionally you will get a set of their wheels with bad bearings (they use cartidge-type). They are usually good about sending free or low cost replacements, end caps, etc.
