The Specialized Allez Sprint uses a size specific fork taper. I am trying to figure out what size fork would fit on a 56 frameset. Specifically would a fork from a 58 be the same as the 56?

Looking at the Allez Sprint geometry, they all use the same 44 rake/offset fork.

You’re saying that the diameter of the flared lower section of the fork steerer varies between different size frames?
The steerer being different lengths based on the length of the headtube (plus stem, headset, spacers etc) it needs to fit into I can see, but have never heard of the taper being different between frame sizes.
I am pretty sure that the OP is talking about rake.
Edit… I guess I was wrong about rake.
Yes, supposedly the fork taper is different. That way it’s stiffer on the larger frames than the smaller frames to account for weight. Or something to that effect.
