Anyone try one of these kits yet? I think I might pull the trigger on one, for the good of the forum.
Not sure on that specific one but tri suits are maybe the one thing I wouldn’t buy cheap on. My first tri suit was a Chinese eBay special and holy cow did it rub me in the wrong spots. Figured that was maybe normal until I bought a real suit. Decent tri suits really aren’t terribly expensive when you wait for a sale from the company you want. This is coming from someone who rode AliExpress carbon clinchers for years as well.
But by all means give it a go and report back!

A zip broke on my $400 trisuit after 4 uses and I still have a $40 replica bike kit from China going strong 3 years down the track. The quality is OK. I’m not sure I would race in a Chinese suit, but for bike kit it’s good. Actually I would race in one, but maybe not for an A race.
I have never bought a trisuit from ali express but I do by all my biking gear from various vendors on the site. Basic summer bib sets as well as winter gear. I have never been able to find tri suits on there, its always dedicated bike stuff or running gear, nothing that has the smaller pad designed for triathlon. I hate running with a full size pad thats made specifically for biking.
The gear I bought was always cheap in the $10-15 range. Its all lasted me multiple seasons, but has been showing wear. Its worth the test to see if you can wear the clothing and be comfortable, I know some people claim they get blisters or something but I have no issues. Plus the jerseys have some cool designs.
I would recommend.
I got a cheap pair of tri shorts to train in. Overall quality was good, but the pad was sewn in using really abrasive stitching that cut into me on long runs.
I’ve also had some low cost jerseys made there ($29 for full custom design, no min), and been really happy with the fabrics and quality.
As mentioned, you can get good trisuits cheap, esp this time of year. I just sold some brand new PI Elite suits on eBay for $45-$60 (sleeveless) and $75-$90 (sleeved).
I don’t have specific feedback on tri stuff, but I have gotten other cycling gear from aliexpress, a jersey from a brand called Racmmer and shorts from spexcel. Firstly, I find the brand names to be hilarious, it’s veritable alphabet soup. I mean, I guess you could say the same for a good number of other companies based in the US or whatever, but just seems like a lot of the aliexpress brands are english-ish sounding gibberish. Ok, I’m rambling!
So the quality for the stuff was so-so, I really liked the fit of the jersey especially for $16, it was a nice kind of fitted and not loose. Unfortunately the sleeve hem stitching started coming apart after only a few uses (washed on gentle).
The shorts from spexcel are actually good, or were, because I have worn a hole in both of them. I think it’s probably a fit issue because the two pairs I got wore on the same side, so I won’t beat them up for that. I’d probably order those again, they were like $20 and fit me well and the chamois is fine for me.
