Airline carrying case for a wahoo kickr

Has anyone figured out a carrying case situation for a wahoo kickr? I am looking at the box dimensions and the base dimensions of the kickr itself. Looks like something like the Nanuk 950 or Nanuk 938 might work. Has anyone done this research before?

I would order a Pelican case and custom cut the foam to fit. Pelican.com.

This is what many of the pros travel with. I have traveled with it and it works just great. I check it as a piece of luggage in the case provided.

I don’t have a solution to your question, but a reminder to make sure you take the weight of the case into consideration. The KICKR is listed at 46 pounds, so you’ll want to make sure your case is light (which might compromise toughness) in order to stay under the 50 pound limit for airlines before you pay extra (unless you’re in to that kind of thing).

I have no intention of ever traveling with one but if I did I would use the box it came in and get it wrapped at the airport.
The other option is find something lighter and easy to travel with such as the Feedback Omnium or Roodol Rollers.
