I have an opportunity to buy a used Airborne Titanium frame. It is a 2001 model but I know it has less than 1000 miles on it. Maybe just half that. What is the consensus on these frames.
Thanks for the help.

My buddy use to sell them and still rides their road and mountain bikes (manhattan project road bike). Likes them alot.
A friend rides the Zeppelin from about that timeframe and likes it a lot.

The shop I got my Felt from carried them and seemed to have some success with them. I’ve never heard anyone at the shop complaining. But I’ve never been on one, though I have been eye-balling their HT mountain frames!
Good. I have owned a Spectre for 5 years and love it. Very pretty welds and finish and the graphics are nice, too.
My road bike is a Manhattan project (ti with carbon chain stays). Great frame. Accelerates well and very responsive.
If it’s a good deal then go for it.

1000 miles for Airborne is nothing unless it crashed. I was commuting in NYC on Airborne Zeppelin since it just came out. I’ve put 25K+ miles on this frame, riding all year around, swapping parts, wheels, etc. Now my son is commuting on this frame. This frame was the best value for money I could get. Make sure to check actual dimensions. My bike had top tube 2cm longer that the site was saying. Well, it was just the first year…
I ride the zeppelin…It’s now my road bike but I rode it at IMLP last year with Carbon Stryke aerobars. Good solid dependable frames…

I also have had a Zeppelin for 2 years…love it!
I have the manhattan (SP?) project … And I LOVE IT !!!
