Just started doing triathlons this summer, and i’m hooked! I have a 2004 Roubaix Elite, and I plan to install aerobars to hopefully be a bit more efficient during tri rides? Do any of you have advice or recommendations as to what style or brand of aerobar would be best??? I realize I will have to be refitted after installing the aerobars.

Any of the shorter length bars will work great - I have Profile Jammer GT’s on my road bike but other similiar bars are made by Oval, Syntace, Vision Tech, etc.
This is the coolest set-up I’ve seen (The Dude’s bike). I’m waiting on a few parts from Profile to see if it might work for me.
Basically…it’s the Profile Jammer bar with different extensions and a riser to get the pads above the bar (whereas they normally mount above).
I assume the advantage of that setup is getting even lower than if the aerobars were mounted above the bar?
