Hello triathletes,
I just bought a new bike, the Giant Contend SL 2018 Disc for my first iron man and I want to install clip on aerobars. It looked like a great first road bike, but there is no logical way (to me) to install them as the hydraulic disc fluid compartment is on the middle of the handlebars. For those who aren’t familiar with the bike, pic below. The cables out of the compartment run very close to the handle bars, without much wiggle, maybe 3-5mm space between handle bars.
Has anyone installed aerobars onto this bike? Is it possible without replacing the braking system? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
