Aero Headset Spacers (who uses them)

OK, I still use a bike with traditional fork and stem that uses head set spacers (P3-SL). I like to have some room to move stem/bars up and down. That way I can fine tune height as my flexability allows. Question: I only can find VisionTech for a source of aero headset spacers, and they seem very expensive for an aluminum profile that is just cut to length. Plus they are only for 1 1/8" fork. Does anyone know of another company that makes these?

Also, would it not make sence to make them for 1" fork diameter? All this work goes into making the bike aero as possible and then we stick an 1/8" wider spacer front and center to the wind. This seems crazy. Thoughts please.

I like my aero bar set up which does not have adjustability to pads, I am guessing that will be one answer. However $$$, was a little bit of the issue and the headset spacers raise and lower really easily.

1" forks are old, and are rarely seen on newer bikes. That fact, along with “aero headset spacers” are such a niche product, I wouldn’t expect to find them anywhere.

you would have to work out a way to keep them oriented properly, they will tend to move around.

2cm of spacers is like 1g of drag or less so you don’t need to fret too much
