Hey there
Has anybody seen something like this? I think it may be a good idea to store clincher tubes etc into an aero bottle.
Better than store it all over the bike…

Isn’t that why they designed the P4 for an aero bottle?
Seriously though, yeah, people do this quite frequently.
No clue if Cervelo wanted to create an drink or tool bottle.
But the P4 bottle fits only the P4. So I need a solution with a “norm” bottle.
Easy, use any bottle.I cut a slice down the back side so I can open up to stuff in tubular,co2,&mini tool.
On my profile you can see the road set up.
You can also try this from Bontrager, you can get a spare clincher tube etc.
I have been doing that for years!
The aereo bottle on the frame has a tube, lever, CO2, and patch kid!
could you post a picture? how get you the things and specially out of the bottle. or have you cut / modified it?
It’s not that aero, unless positioned behind the seat, but you can take two regular water bottles and make a tool box. Take a look at this interview with Scott Sunderland from BKW - http://www.belgiumkneewarmers.com/2008/07/team-cscs-scott-sunderland.html
2 faster options: flat kit in bento or small saddle bag.

xlab aereo bottle, and basically everything I listed fit in perfectly without cutting it
I would post a pic but it just that; I had a crash this year during a race and it took me no more than 10 sec to pull the stuff out the bottle.
For training rides u could probably fit in another tube it would be very very tight
Where did you get the black xlab bottle on the road bike?
I use an Hydrotail, with 3 bottle holders, and the in the rear I have a canister with: 2 Vittoria pitstop, 4 CO2 +1 adapter, chain tool, multi-tool, chain magic link, etc. I also placed on the 3 set of screws (for the 3 bottle holders) 3 sets of 2 straps each, so I can have 2 tubular tires and the canister strapped for extra security (as it is not something you are taking frecuently)

I think you’re missing the kitchen sink.

sour or regular?
Got the same hydrotail set up, just not that much gear in mine.
