I am getting ready to sell my bike and will soon put it up in the Classified section but I have several options and looking for advice on how best to sell. I have 3 options:
Sell the frame only and then sell some parts later one at a time
Sell the frame built with stem, bullhorn + aerobars, bar-end shifters, , brake levers, brakes and saddle
Buy front & rear derailleurs plus cranks then completely re-build and sell complete without wheels.
What would be appealing for most buyers. For me it is easier to sell #1 or #2 and would allow someone to customize their build but perhaps better to sell complete so someone can get a complete bike without the hassle of building? Thoughts?

Just post the whole bike and when you take the picture make sure everything else you want to sell in the house is in the background. You will probably get offers to part out chainring bolts, headset spacers, brake pads, potted plants, pretty much everything.

But seriously - PUT UP PICTURES. Nice ones. The better your pictures, the more your stuff will fetch. Seriously.
Most offerors (sp) on ST will also low-ball you to the death!!! We seem to be a rich, but cheap group. Or is it poor, but cheap? Either way, parting it out is more of a hassle, but should draw better income for you.
