Adjusting Look A51 pedals

I am having difficulty unclipping from my look A51 pedals all of a sudden. There are 2 places to adjust one area uses an allen type wrench and the other is an actual dial on the back of the pedal. I looked for any type of manual or instructions online with no success. Does anybody know what these 2 are for and what to do to make it easier to unclip?

The dial on the back is for the adjustable float. The allen screw adjust tension. To make it easier to unclip loosen the allen screw it will loosen in pre set increments. Strange that it got harder all of a sudden though so it maybe something other than just the tension
