Adjusting gear for different sized people

I may be an outlier here, but my Asics Nimbus 25 does not feel like a plush pillow at all. I read everywhere that is soft. Well it’s not. But I’m putting 200 pounds on it. I have never managed to have a shoe last over 300 miles.
What shoe still feels soft if you’re 75 pounds heavier than Lucy Charles?
And more general, is there anyone out there reviewing or adjusting for size? Not just shoes but also bikes, wetsuits? A bike that is very rigid for LCB can be flimsy for me. Or one that is very aero may not be at all with a larger person on it. After all, a lot of bike measurements don’t change in bike size. We all have the same wheels, the same frame tube diameter, but what we put on is incredibly different.
(And not my experience obviously, but I’m sure that very light people have similar issues)

I have the gel nimbus 25, and they are complete marshmallows…I’m 190. If anything, lighter runners will perceive the shoes as harder since they have less weight to compress the foam. There’s no real way for them to normalize things since a size 9 might fit someone who is 140 and someone who is 220.
I would say reviewers are comparing items RELATIVE to others they test. There is no objective definition of a stiff bike or a soft shoe.
