Adapter for disc brake rotor 6 bolt to center lock?

So, if and just if, i ever get my DB Andean i like to get the new dura ace disc rotor’s. But those are center lock and on my zipp 404/8-8 are 6 bolt’s. I am new to disc brakes and i wonder id there are any adapters for 6 bolt to center lock rotor’s. I have seen them vice versa but ig understand correctly those are not be used vice versa although i don’t get why (yet)…

Thanks,

Jeroen

Hmm, I’ve never seen an adaptor that goes in that direction (not saying they don’t exist).

Why are you so set on those rotors? I mean, I’m sure they’re nice and all, but there are a lot of nice six bolt rotors out there as well. Even if the adaptor does exist, I wouldn’t voluntarily introduce an adaptor into the system unless I absolutely had to (just another point of potential failure/issue).

You have a point there, it does add an extra component but i just like that compltely closed look from those rotor’s.

No such adapter exists. Can’t fit the required components in the available space.

.

You cannot use centre lock rotor on 6bolts hub
But it’s a possible combination: 6bolt rotor on CL hub.

I’ve a cx bike equiped with disc brakes.
IMO, 6 bolts type is much more better than shimano CL because it is slighlty lighter, simpler and quite cheaper. Anyway I admitt that dura rotor looks gorgeous…

Why do you say 6 olt is better?

Cetrelock is quicker to install/remove.
Won’t warp because some hamfisted can’t do bolts up evenly and to the proper torque.
Is generally a lighter overall system.
Allows wider hub flange spacing.

Exactly what is it about 6 bolt that you find better?
