tell me about them? any good? i’m sick of feeling uncomfortable towards the end of long rides!
they are amazing, get one
.
I just picked one up about 2 weeks ago. Totally worth it.
IMHO, people do saddles wrong. Measure your sitsbones and then figure out what saddle you want. Not the other way around. Best,
It didn’t work too well for me, but I’ve got narrow sit bones.
Noseless is the way to go if you are having undercarriage issues. I have the Adamo for the tt bike and I can rotate forward much better than before. On the road bike I use the Selle SMP, which is good but you can’t rotate the pelvis forward like on the Adamo.
what he said.
on a soloist which is used for both triathlon and road racing? is it an ok seat for road racing?
If you like lots of padding, go with the Adamo Typhoon. Best saddle I’ve had in 4 years in this sport.
i have the top of the line model. it’s not for me. want it? hardly any wear, but a little dust.
Eric, was this post meant for me? Are you saying you’re giving away a Typhoon?
not the typhoon($100), the top end racing saddle($160). sorry, already claimed.
Great seats. I am waiting for the new MTB version.

Great saddle, but
-
positioning is different than a regular saddle, so get fitted by someone who is familiar.
-
Takes a bit getting used too, give it some time.
-
position it so the nose slightly slopes down.

Great saddle for the aero position, use the zip tie trick to adjust the width,
I can’t use one for sitting up though, it’s very uncomfortable for when I sit up, my road bike has a blackwell flow
.
The Typhoon is awesome for sitting up AND aero for me. Wider back end and full padding.
It ain’t no fun to have numb junk. No more sleepy pee pee!!! I know exactly what you mean. I got the adamo road and my junk thanks me after every ride.

ISM Adamo seats are absolutely awesome, think most benefits are explained already, but as a FIST bike fitter, i love what these saddles can do for athletes on road bikes who want to ride aero.
I have an Adamo Race saddle on my P2 and an Adamo Road on my Soloist. Will never go back to a conventional saddle again.
All ISM saddles are not equal. Noseless works for me. I can’t find anything better. You still have to measure your sit bones and padding requirements. The adamo saddles all fit differently so you still have to find the one that’s right for you.
One word of caution on the Adamo seat. Be aware that seats with a nose have multiple ways to set on the seat, at least two main positions which includes riding the nose or butt to the pads, and infinite adjustment in between those two extremes. The Adamo seat really only has one position to ride and although it is a fairly comfortable position, you will always gain benefit by using slightly different muscle groups and thus why I went back to a regular saddle. Are there any big time triathletes - specifically bike experts - using this saddle, I don’t know of too many and I think they would agree that a nose seat is better for generating a higher avg speed.
