Does anybody have an Active.com membership and can you tell me what it does for you ? They’ve got a “deal” going now, so i lookling…does it eliminate the online registration fee completely ? Thanks,
I bought their half price premium membership deal the other day and used it a few minutes later to register for a turkey trot. It completely eliminated the $3.xx fee on that registration and I assume it does for everything, but it’s possible they cap it.
5-6 more registrations until it pays for itself…

they recently charged $60 dollars to my credit card. I think i might of signed up for a promo or something registering for REV3 cedar point '12, i don’t know. i called and cancelled and they refunded my 60 immediately. I don’t know how much use I would of got out of it being a Canadian and only doing a few select races in the States a year… shrugs. I really don’t know much about Active other then a lot of registration is done through them.
I use my Active Advantage membership to register my wife and I for races and century rides. I think the normal fee is about $3.50 for each registration so after 18 races I’m in the black. The two of us together probably registered for about 25 races/rides in 2011 so we saved about $25. Is it worth it? You’ll have to make that decision. If you’re registering yourself and family or friends than I’d say yes. FYI - Don’t do it for the Scwaggle!
I also bought it for the Schwaggle…why was that not a good idea? normally $60, I got it for $25.
