Absorbing your workout in 9 days

What are people’s beliefs around this illusive concept. I have always read and tend to believe the magic 9 day rule…that it takes 9 days for one to absorb a particular workout. So when getting in those last few high intesity workouts during a peak phase you time it right prior to tapering. Do other people believe this as well? I’m curious to know if some people believe you absorb it quicker or slower than 9 days.

I pretty much agree (8,9, 10 days) but it also can depend on what else you do in those nine days.

Well in Dr Hovell T Moon’s Buford Commision study it was around that … ie " between 8-10 days" … but I digress…
