Are there any hotels in Hopkinton that would require less than a two mile walk? Why would you want to stay there anyhow, the race ends 26.2 miles away in Boston…
Hopkinton is a small quiet town that pretty much comes to life one day a year on Patriot’s Day for the marathon. Any hotels would be a few miles out along I-495 in towns like Milford, Westborough, Southborough or in Framingham along Rt 9. Nothing within walking distance if that’s what you are looking for. You’d be better off staying in or close to the city to take advantage of the buses that morning as most of the roads going into Hopkinton itself are closed to general traffic.
