Anyone have one? I am thinking about a way to get in the pool workout in an easier way and I was interested because I have seen that above ground pools could be cheaper than a lot of other at home swim options. So, anyone have one? If so any issues (able to get a good push off the soft walls, etc.)
Too short??
they make 75’ long above ground pools?
Yeah think so. Can’t remember the name of the female triathlon coach that was featured in one of my Tri magazines. Showed a picture of her coaching her athletes in such a pool
Check this out 7’ X 82’(25m)

Not that I can afford it, but about how much (approx.) is an above-ground pool of this size? $10? $25? $50k?

There are two links to two suppliers above with various sizes and prices.

Ah, thanks, I just saw those.
Holy $#!+! If I’ve got $17k burning a hole in my pocket, I’d just get a 4’x12’ and the Endless Pool Fastlane (or pre-packaged Fastlane Pool) or, cheaper, a swim tether. And use the “spare change” to upgrade my bike, buy a new wetsuit, a few pairs of shoes, a trip overseas, aaand the porcelain dog.
FYI, I just started a For Sale thread with more details and pictures in the Classified Forum for anyone who may be interested!

I looked into this and found that the cost was very much on par with an Endless Pool. Given that price range and being a triathlete, I would probably take the Endless Pool.

Inspiration makes so fairly large above ground pools. Country Leisure, in Oklahoma City, offers one that is 30 foot around. For more info on these, you can visit out page on www.countryleisuremfg.com/products/above-ground-pools-oklahoma-city/ for above ground pools.
You could set it up on a hill and practice your swim climbing.

Okay, I’ll ask the obvious question. Can you flipturn off one of these things?
