ABG Soft Porn...Nothing Too Dirty

Just finished getting ready for our Callaway Gardens Triathlon over Labor Day and thought they were looking pretty sweet. Figured I would share with everyone out there…bland background, big chainring, tire labels straight, valve stems lined up…what else did I miss? (I will probably regret asking that question.)

Nice bikes. Is your wife’s bike a 04 650. I have the same bike except your wife has a much nicer seat. Your litespeed is nice also how do you like the Ti/carbon combo?

The only thing you might have missed was to orient your cranks either parallel to the ground or in the same line as the chainstay but that’s probably personal preference. Otherwise, good job, and sweet bikes.

One thing you missed:

On the Litespeed, the rear tube has a longer presta valve than the one on the front. That’s going to cost you at least a couple of minutes on the bike split.

As far as the TI/C combo…no complaints but I haven’t had a full TI bike before. Have ridden my share of them but not for any long period of time. As far as road bikes, I have owned a steel Serotta, and an aluminum Cannondale which you can see in my “Las Vegas” post…old school.

It is like that to offset the additional weight of my bike computer magnet in the front. (Sound good?)

Great job Mike , nice bikes !

And you could do something about the stem height on the Litespeed - maybe cut it down a tad? ; ) Otherwise, nice bikes. Happy riding!

Yeah, you are right on that one…I guess I am just afraid of commitment.

How about spacers???
And that’s so cute that you guys have your names on them. I’d much prefer “His” and “Her’s”

Hey Mike. Good luck at Callaway. Unfortunately I won’t be there this year. Hopefully it won’t be raining on you. Where did you get your name decals?

One place you can get them is www.bikenames.com but if you search “custom vinyl name decals” on google you will find several other places. I don’t think we paid more than about $3 per sticker.

Glad to hear from you and wondered if you were still around. Actually, at first when the “swimfan” drama started I was confused thinking that was you. Drop me a PM some time with your email address if you want. Are you still in TN? If you would rather email me you can find a link on our website listed below.
