A House of Dynamite

Yes they were

Yes. I think they were. I guess the argument would be that the real time feed was faked.

That’s what I was thinking, the entire thing was some AI super hack attack. I mean everything they were looking at was on a screen, and we pretty much know anything on a screen can be pretty well faked given the right information. The fake nuke is a good ploy too, a lot easier than the electronic fake I bet, and once again, how would you know?

So I’m absolutely in the camp of let it hit the ground first and see what’s what first. Nothing you can do for Chicago if real, and for sure those minutes do nothing to dampen our counter attack. And ii would take it even further, no counter until you know “for sure” who sent it, or there are more incoming from a known origin..Just seems to easy for a bad character to start WWIII, are we that vulnerable?

We don’t have weapons here

Transportation would be destroyed and food would be scarce

It was tracked on separate radars making what you suggest unlikely

This site is kind of “fun”.

What could possibly go wrong?

Ok. We just watched.

I actually liked the ending. We see the final minutes leading up until essentially the end of the world as we know it. That’s what happens. No matter what, never the same. That’s the point.

I liked the ending too.

Some parts reminded me of that ‘The Day’ episode of Paradise.

You’re just mad you can’t complain about Chicago violence anymore.

Just learned today he’s Richard Harris’ son - never made the name connection before.

I learned something new today.

Foundation, The Terror, The Expanse: some of my favorites.

Chernobyl. He was outstanding.

HoD is like Chernobyl – high stakes protocols are hard to do right but when you get the right actors, details, and script, they’re riveting

Harris was fantastic in both. He is one of those underrated actors who instantly draws me in. If he’s in it, there’s a good chance I’m going to enjoy the show.

I laughed pretty hard at your comment about his demise in both and not being able to catch a break. He needs to be careful to not be typecast as “man who dies at end of nuclear dramas”.

Or who dies by suicide. His character Lane Pryce in Mad Men hung himself in his office.

He hanged himself at the end of Chernobyl as well.

3 major roles, 3 suicides. Is somebody in the industry trying to tell him something?

Sam Bean would like a word.
