A foot of snow, poked with needles

Well, here in good old Boulder Colorado, we got a foot of snow last night… so much for training again.

After three weeks with a really bad sprained ankle, I am able to train again! Thank fuck! Was planning on running this morning but my plans got pushed up about 12 hours. On my way home last night I had to ditch the car because the roads were too bad (the old Honda with cheap ass California tires just dont cut it) and run home. Was a little nervious about it cause I havent run in weeks and I didn’t know for sure if the old ankle would hold up, but all went well. Course running 5 miles in jeans and a collared button up shirt wearing a 20lb backpack durring a white out was not the “first run back” that I imagined, but it did me just fine.

By the way, ya’ll with ANY kind if injury, GO TO ACUPUNCTURE!!! I’d never done it before but holy shit its fantastic. I had three treatments for my ankle that did WONDERS each time. DOnt know enough about it to elaborate but I can say that if you can, find a school in your area and see if they have a clinic. I spent 18 bucks on the frst treatment, and 25 on each treatment after. Thats cheap! I’ll be going about once a week from now on. Wicked cool stuff. I’m hooked!

And thats my Friday morning!
