A DIY Vibration Plate/Platform for recovery?

I am curious is anyone has any DIY suggestions to make a vibration plate/platform for recover. I do not feel like paying 1500 for one. The seem simple enough to make.

It seems that most modalities that claim to improve recovery may indeed do so to some degree. But they also seem to reduce the training effect. So you’re kinda back to square one.

Until there is lots more data, I would skip it …

You could wear some compression socks while standing on the vibration plate and let them fight it out.

I had to do the vibration plate when going through achilles repair rehab, but for recovery? Really?

You can pick up a medi-rub for around a hundred bucks.

An O2 Fitness Center membership will get you access to one more than likely. That seems to be a fixture of their facilities…particularly popular with the ladies, I might add.

I have to say, I tried it out after a hard run and my calves did feel better afterward…
