Would like to go 32, or even 34 if possible.
With my current 9070 RD… what’s the limit? Am i better off going to a 9100 RD??
If I switch the RD, is everything else compatible (9070 FD, shifters, etc.)?
Not really sure about this, someone else might chime in. But for 22 bucks it’s certainly much cheaper than buying a new di2 derailleur.

9070 can do 30 with ease… 32 is bike dependent, but I’ve seen it done and have done it… same goes with 9100 ( 32 only seen it , not actually done) 34t… no idea?

9100 RD is slightly longer than 9070. I believe the officially supported spec from Shimano is 28T max for 9000, 30T for 9100, but how far beyond that you can go will vary somewhat with bike. But whatever you can get working with current RD, 9100 should give you an extra 2T.
I’ve run a 32 no problem with DA9000 mech. I have run 32 on the Di2 9100. Zero issues. I think 34 is for sure an issue on 9000 and can’t say for sure on the 9100 Di2.
Unless you MUST have DA, the Ultegra 8050 has a mid-cage version that can go up to 34t and it’s much cheaper. You pose some bling but your pocket gets heavier.

Is the 8050 rear compatible with 9070 stuff??
Yes… all Di2 stuff, between DA and Ultegra and between generations, are pretty much compatible other than the very early versions such as 7900.

If it’s E-Tube, everything is compatible between groups as long as the generation is the same - ie all 10sp is compatible with all other 10sp components and likewise with 11sp.
The first DI2 components, Dura Ace 7970, did not use E-Tube connections and they are stand alone. Everything else can and will work.

I have a 9070 RD and the limit is 30 in my opinion. I have an 11-30 cassette for climbing road races and it runs with no issues at all. I personally think a 32 would be too large for the 9070 RD. Yes 9070, 9100 is compatable, i am doing that right now with 9150 shifters with 9070 RD/FD.
