I was surprised not to see this posted anywhere, but Craig Percival is making his way around Australia, raining money for the John Maclean Foundation…

For those of you who don’t know Craig, he’s an absolute monster (not sure if he cracked a 9hrs IM, but VERY close & also set all sorts of records at Ultraman). He’s been doing these IM’s on either side of 11-hours.

He just started Day 5 & is in the pool right now w/ Craig Alexander.

I had the pleasure crewing for Craig at Ultraman Canada a few years back . . . a SUPER great guy And a super talented fast athlete!

I’m surprised this hasn’t been posted in a new thread on the forum yet but Craig has just passed away from complications from knee surgery. So terribly sad. Thoughts and condolences to his young family http://www.dailymail.co.uk/~/article-3998520/index.html

Wow. That’s so sad. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

My UM friends are all really sad and shocked about this. One said that a clot developed during the knee surgery that then moved up to the lung. Crazy and sad.
