ANDā¦ Wurf posted on Instagram this morning that his mechanical shifters had no powerā¦ he would have one gear all day long. That probably explains him tailing off toward the end of the bike.

when he checked the bike in to t1 he made an instagram post that the bike had mechanical issue leaving him stuck in 1 gear. not a bad effort for a single speed!
Your scepticism is warranted. Internet was fine on the sidelines watching, im Geelong team were posting. The coverage might use some form of satellite connection rather than your standard persons data connection

The worst thing about this is here we are discussing the coverage out rather than the epic racing. Has anyone mentioned the male and female podiums, Natalie Vancoeverden, Hannah Berry and Grace Thek. Jelle Geens, Jake Birtwhistle and Taylor Reid. The crazy fast male run timess etc. These athletes had a great day and it deserved to be witnessed. Ironman need to do better.
