Why do so few bike shoe manufacturers make a size 49? I only know of 3 tri-shoes that come in size 49 and I can only afford one of them.

Considering he is using European sizing for his question, I think english might not be his first language.
To the OP’s question, I have no idea. I wear a 41/42 and find that this size tends to sell out very quickly. Maybe 49s are popular in your area and tend to sell out?
Why do your english is so bad?
Why can’t you just answer the damn question, smart-ass. Thanks for the help.

Take a nap man!
You’re supposed to capitalize English smarty-pants.
Most shoe lasts (molds) are done in full sizes and half sizes are accomplished with thicker insoles. I would think that you could purchase the next size up and place a filler plate under the insole.

Nice, thanks Uli.
Now back to the topic at hand. Are there any size 49 tri-shoes out there that I don’t know about? I currently have LG Tri Air 2’s in size 49 which I got from Tom at Bikesportmichigan. They are decent shoes. I broke the metal piece that holds the straps on the first day but was able to replace that with a piece of clothes hanger. I used them all of last season but they are begin to get a bit ripe.
