3T aura pro riser kit

hi guys, just wondering if the brezza 2 riser kits will fit aura pro bars found on the 2012 p2? here is the kit: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/231028811204?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 …i still have all the stack and an uncut stem, so im trying to remove a few spacers and keep higher aero bars if possible. Cheers

Yes it will fit.

You can get the 10mm + 20mm kit to get 10, 20 or 30mm stack. Or you can get the 60mm kit.

If, like me, you want to go 40 or 50mm you need two of the 10+20mm kits, use the ones you need to get the correct height BUT you have to source allen head cap bolts of the correct length which is tricky. I ended up buying long ones and having them cut.

If you need any help, with getting bolts or questions on the bar, let me know.

Slam the stem and use the risers

cool cheers for that. Im thinking 30mm should be ok, not sure, i will have a look at the spacers on there and decide

for 30 mm you need M5x60 bolt without washers. The bolts lenght vary between aura and brezza but the spacer shape does not
for 20 mm M5x50. what i can suggest is to source titanium bolts from torontocycles (http://torontocycles.com/Selling/Titanium_Bolts.html)

oh shit really? why do they make different bolt lengths for these things :|…im in australia, going to be a long wait!

Just source the bolts from any local hardware store, they can be even hex head. If i remember correctly difference is 5mm. I did the same - had aura last year and used brezza spacers. Now i have brezza and i have reused spacers. when i was sure about my fit i ordered bolts from torontocycles

edit - checked the bolts :
for aura : 30mm rise you need 75mm bolts and for 20 mm rise you need 65mm bolts.

That would explain why the initial set of risers (sent by 3T I might add) didn’t hold the risers very straight. I was assured the Aura and Brezza were the same … the bolt length is obviously the reason they sell them separately.

Jaymz, I’m thinking on pulling the trigger on 3t Aura online for a ridiculous price. If I ever get them and need some help setting up can you help?
Thanks bud

Yep for sure. PM’d you.
