The core’s on these tires are removable right? I was twisting mine but it doesnt want to come out and I don’t want to strip the threads. They painted them red now so it’s hard to tell.
I’m at least 95% sure those cores are removeable. There’s a special little core removal tool that helps. It clamps down on the little flat spots in the threads below the plunger. If you don’t have the tool, needlenose pliers will work.
Why do you want to remove them?
On the 320tpi version the whole stem comes off, not just the core which they have helpfully illustrated.

I have Tufo valve extenders so the core goes in the valve extender.

That’s pretty cool. Since I already use Tufo extenders, that would be trick and would really simplify dealing with a spare when you’ve got a disk in back and a deep wheel in front.
