Been using my 310XT on some recent mountain bike rides and 2 out of the last 4 times I have transferred the data to the Garmin Training Center the ride has vanished (but the other two it worked perfectly). The Ant Agent says the transfer was complete and the data is cleared off the 310…but I can’t find the data in Garmin Training Center. I checked for updates and tested the connection on the Garmin site and everthing seems fine…except for my lost data. Any ideas???

Check back a few years and see if the data has been added with the wrong date. Are you losing GPS during your ride? if so this could be why you have wrong date (happens to me). If so then its off to Garmin Im afraid.
Also, see if the data was copied by the ANT agent to your computer - even if it didn’t get consumed by GTC. The files hang out in:
C:\Users\rmaker\Application Data\Garmin\Devices\3660261241\History
Replace ‘rmaker’ with your username’ and replace the big long number with your device ID (just simply browse to the ‘devices’ folder instead.
On older versions of Windows, ‘Users’ will be ‘Documents and Settings’.
The same exact thing has been happening to me, sporadically. Sometimes I’ll have 20 workouts to transfer over and 19 will make it over, with 1 never going into training center and it seems to disappear from my garmin as well.
I’m glad someone else is having the same trouble - well, not glad, but hoping there may be a fix for it!
I had this happen once … when I realized that not all the history was transferred (but automatically deleted from the watch), I closed the program, disconnected the receiver, turned off the watch and then reconnected the receiver, turned on the watch. That worked.
Since then, I turned off the ‘automatic delete’ option and I always let the program auto-start when transferring data.
