Someone is selling a used pair of 440’s for 300 dollars which have a “v shaped depression” upon inspection of the picture the depression looks like a hole in the side of the rim… 300 dollars???

this but if those are true then I think they are probably usable / repairable are’nt they?
I doubt the v shaped impression is much more than cosmetic. You might lose a few seconds in a 40K TT. Easily repairable as well. Hie thee to Home Depot or its ilk. Given the price of new 440s and the small advantage they provide, I’d say it’s an easy choice. All of these race wheels are overpriced by 50%.
