What is the average lifespan mileage-wise of a tubular tire? I have conti podiums that I raced on last year that have approx. 150 miles on them. I can see no nicks or cuts. Should I swap them out or re-glue?
And speaking of re-gluing, at what point should I clean the old glue off the rim? I have only one season of glue build-up so I assume I’m good at least for another season. And last question, if I do re-glue the existing tire, should I just put a light layer on the rim and tire and slap the old tires back on? Any other tips? Thanks
as long as the tire is in good shape, reglue if the glue is more than about 6 months old. 150 miles isn’t very much for a decent tub.

I clean mine every 3-4 glue jobs, if the glue base starts to get really uneven. the new glue will soften the existing glue.

*all you will need is a thin layer to soften the old glue. *
