I’m interested in buying a 2XU wetsuit (most propably the Elite).
I’m living in Greece, so no dealer in the country!
The only way to get one is from an e-shop.
Taking into consideration that I’m 6’ 1" and 196 lbs,
which size would you suggest for me?
According to 2XU’s size table both L and LT fit my body.
I think that their sizing chart reads a little small. I am 6’ 1" and 173 lbs which puts me in a MT. I tried on the suits and had trouble deciding between a LT and an XL. And, I really like a tight wetsuit. I think you probably want the XL.
I have that suit and agree they seam to run smaller as do their elite clothes.
I am 6’2, 207lbs; went with the XL and it fits perfect.
The guys are right, the chart does run a bit on the small side. I have however had quite good success with sizing people in the proper weight range, as long as they are not at the high end of the range. The key as everyone may know, but I find it especially critical with our suits is to get it REALLY snug in the inseam prior to putting the top half on. then pull the arms up and work to get the suit on completely, BEFORE zipping it up.
I have had guys swear a suit will not fit, but when I take the time to help get it on, they love it, and it feels great in the water.
so, all of this being said, I would go for the LT for the extra length. if you are a new to wetsuits and may go up in weight at all, you may consider the XL…

Considering the fact that my weight is slowly, but steadily, going down,
(although I am new to wetsuits) I’ll follow the suggestion of csinko and I’ll order the LT.
If it is too tied, then I’ll have to exchange it (by post) with the bigger one (XL).
Unfortunately, the best way to make my decision without risk would be to try it first,
but that’s impossible, so I have to live with it.

They are small. I am 6’ 165lbs and I tried on the MT, but exchanged it for a LT and it felt much better.

I just bought an Elite MT, I am 6" 182 Lbs, I raced in it this saturday for 1/2 mile tri swim, very happy with fast swim. It is tight but with excellent shoulder flexibility.
