Hey guys/gals,
thought I would give you guys an update from the cyling world given today’s TDF rest day.
Basically things have been going well with just racing followed by recovery with a block of training in the middle of every week. Since fitchburg we have been hitting up some smaller races in Pennsylvania and in our New York backyard here.
Last weekend I crashed right over the top of a rider who slid out in a Penn. crit about half way through our 90min race but I took my free lap and managed to finish 5th in the P/1/2 blood, road rash, and all. Nice to get a little paycheck for gas money and entry fees. Zack finished two spots behind me in 7th.
This weekend was the Owasco stage race here in NY and if I can’t cite consistency as a reason to be happy then I suppose I’m ok with 7th on GC. The TT I was 10th, crit - 7th, rr -8th. Zack managed 11th, 8th and 19th in the races.
So, if nothing else we’ve done what we came out here to do… race our bikes. 8 races in three weeks is a lot of fast pedalling!

Thanks again for everyone’s support through our little journey!
