Just deserves its own thread. Would make a good stand alone TT at that distance. What a great ride.

BLAZING. i was JUST thinking about that as i sat down to my computer.
it’s like… the speed of light!
I bet his SRM said he was putting out 1.21 jigawatts.
Had his bike been made of stainless steel, he would have traveled back thru time and finished before he even started ![]()

========================
Only 670,616,602.554 mph less. TC, I have told you 13 million times, don’t exaggerate. ![]()
But this triathlon thing… has a run part, doesn’t it?
How about 1h12 on a half-marathon AFTER the 2h05 bike…
AND… a 24’ swim.
Yep, it kicks my ass! This old TTer just doesn’t know how you Tri guys do it. Pretty incredible.

What race are you referring to?
rappstar at 70.3

Well, I know Jordan is working on a Flux Capacitor as well. He really needs to ditch the carbon Lucero though and go with a Blade or something Ti for the true effect. If he goes much faster, he may melt the silly plastic bike as he approaches “Ludicrous Speed” as he goes Plaid.

Let’s just hope he didn’t have the flux capacitor in a bento box ;).
More than that. But not much. 308 or so for the “actually riding” part of the bike (not counting putting on shoes or taking off coming in/out of transition). It was actually lower than what I averaged at both Vineman and Florida. But there were a lot more people so it was like steady and then pick-up the pace when passing people to avoid “hangers-on,” so it was a lot more variable, which I think was a bad thing. Should have been more steady. The course was very fast. Minimal wind. We were also on roads that were open to traffic at points AND we were in the left hand lane AND you had to ride to the right (so when you got passed by a car, there would obviously be some draft from that). The pavement was pretty good too. Stay aero and don’t let power drop off (i.e. keep your momentum up), I think those were the keys. Good equipment helps too. I was hoping to have a bit more power, but I think I did ok. Sub-2:05 would have been nice! ![]()
