25mm tires on a Specialized Shiv Pro?

Technical Bike Question : Has anyone successfully use 700x25mm tries on a 2015 Specialized Shiv Pro Race? The wheel set I’m using is the Roval Rapid 60CL (clincher). I’ve used 24mm Specialized tires - no problem. But, my new 25mm Continental 4000IIs seem to jam into the rear bottom break bracket (Magura). Wondering if I can adjust the break set-up (?). Or is the Specialized Shiv just not built for 25 mm tires ?

Appreciate ST insights. Thanks.

I’ve been running conti gp4000 IIs 25mm for two seasons on my s-works shiv. No issues ever, with the Tektro (?) calipers. Could be differences in brand’s tire measurements though.

I also ran them for couple years with no issues. Plenty of room even at 90lbs. But didn’t have Magura’s

You could always look to some wider rims with a larger internal diameter if you really have problems. I am GUESSING the fit would easier with the Roval CLX 64s which have a 21mm ID.

I used 25mm on my shiv no problem. They might even be a little wider but work fine.

I run a 25mm Continental Competition on my rear with no problems clearing my Magura brakes but I am also running pre-Firecrest Zipp 808 tubulars.

I ride 25mm on my 2013 shiv sworks. No issues. I have both zipp tangent and gp4000sii.

Same on 16’ model, no issues.

I believe its a 2.5mm allen key in the middle of the master cylinder (brake lever) that adjusts the width of the brake caliper.
