Hey guys, just picked up one of these skinsuits on eBay. $25 shipped from Hong Kong. For that price, thought it was worth a shot. I’ll report back about fit, materials and construction when it gets here. I guessed on the large because I usually wear a size large although the sizing chart said even a XL was too small for me, we’ll see.

With prices on running tights and compression gear crazy high (for me anyway), I was looking at this stuff just to try out as well. Haven’t bought any yet, but maybe sometime soon

I’m gonna guess that “shock proof” and “anti-viral” pad is gonna bunch up and be pretty brutal on the nether-regions long before you reach the end of 40k. But for the price, who knows. Please report back if you get one and try it out.

Yeah, exactly, thats why I went with my normal size. I would have been a XXL or something (I’m 6’2)
Got the skinsuit today. 14 days after placing the order. I got the large because I’m usually a large, the upper half fits really well, the bottom half could be a little tighter. Also, the chamois is on the thinner side----maybe decent for a sprint tri or du? I’ll be using for 10 mi TT’s which should be fine.
Looks as well made as any spandex item I’ve bought in the past. It does smell like a brand new plastic shower curtain.
Overall, I’m happy. Will throw it in the wash and hopefully it will snug up a little and not smell.
For $25 shipped, seems like a bargain.
Looks nice, wish they had swimming speed suits for that price.

So as a followup for anyone who has bought one of these suits: for someone who is 6’1" and 165lbs - would the size Large likely be too big? I notice that the seller has Size M in stock now and I was thinking of picking one up…

Yea, get a medium.
I’m 6’2 and 180 and the large is a little big on me in the shorts area. Also, the pad is decent but not Pearl Izumi quality. But IMO a good buy for a cheap skinsuit.

I’m pretty much the exact same size as you 6’1" amd 180lbs. If you did it again would you think about a medium or stick with the large?
