21 STOLEN BIKES: Bicycles Inc. in Arlington Texas, serial numbers

All,

My local LBS was broken into on Sunday night. It was clearly a planned job, with them pulling mostly high end bikes. Below is a list of the bikes and their serial numbers. IF YOU ARE BUYING a used high end bike in the near future, please check the serial number against these listed below.

A couple of these bikes are really unique, like the Venge Pro UI2. If you see anything like this bike, please keep Bicycles, Inc. in mind.

If you have information regarding these bikes, or knowledge of the crime, please contact one of the people below:

Well keep an eye out down here in San Antonio for ya…

Thanks!

I’m here in north Texas and browse Craigslist on a regular basis. I’ll keep my eye open.

Would it be possible to have a moderator stick this notice to the top of the forum for a couple of days?

Good idea. I will also keep watch.

This is just sick.

Bummer!! We will definitely be on the lookout if we get suspicious emails matching those descriptions and serial #s. You should try submitting your serial numbers to this website http://www.leadsonline.com/main/index.php . It’ll alert you if anyone across the nation sells or buys your bikes.

We are a small bike shop in Granbury that buys gently used high end bikes and we use the site that I sent you (it was recommended to us by our local sheriff). Hit us up with questions. Thanks.

i don’t know why people do this. i hope they catch who ever it was and you get your bikes back

I’ve been to bicycles Inc a few times before a few races. Always liked that place.
Can’t believe that happened. Those who steal will see their own end. Terrible.

Thanks for that! I’ll send it on to Eddie, and let him know about it.
