2025 Concerts

The 2025 Tour announcements have been rolling out for a while. I’m sure there are folks mapping out their concert schedule already like we are. So, whatcha got for next year?

So far for us it’s only the Sonic Temple Festival in Ohio. We’re doing a two day package with Metallica headlining both nights. Friday has Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie as the main support acts. My son is excited to see Suicidal Tendencies as well. Sunday’s support is Alice In Chains and Chevelle. I’m psyched for Sunday because Corrosion of Conformity will be there as well.

I’m on the Tyler Childers Nashville pre-sale lists.

For 2025, so far I have Sessanta - Primus, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer.

Added DMB at MSG next weekend.

Considering Phish or Warren Haynes in NYC around NYE.

Saw them open for Melvins and Ministry a couple of years ago, only knew a couple of songs that got played on the radio and MTV but they were good.

As far as 2025 concerts, only Stereophonics in March as of now, also considering picking up Metallica tickets (for the night that Suicidal/Pantera open for them).

That sounds like an awesome band list.

So far, I’m only signed up for Cracker. I was hoping they’d do their Camper van Beethoven combo they often do, but not this time.

Not 2025. Iron Maiden in San Antonio this weekend. We were planning to catch them in Denver last month but my wife was sick and we didn’t go. She felt bad about causing us to miss the concert so she got me tickets to the last US show on the current tour.

The only 2025 show currently is Metallica in July.

Haven’t seen much in 2025 that interests me yet. A couple of my favorites are about due to announce tours. I tend to shy away from those arena/stadium shows that get announced a year in advance.

I did just see that The Avett Brothers are headlining the Milwaukee Summerfest, I’ll probably try to hit that weekend.

We saw them in the first half of the Senjutsu tour when they were mixing it more with older stuff. I’m excited for the anniversary tour they announced coming down the road. That will definitely be on the list.

Oh, I love them - they are so good live!

So far I just have tickets to the Sing Us Home Festival in Philly in May - Dave Hause, Frank Turner and the Bouncing Souls. I hope to pick up some Screeching Weasel tickets tomorrow.

Oasis in Wembley Stadium (assuming, of course, Noel doesn’t strangle Liam beforehand, which is a big if)

Probably go to my first DMB show in a decade; might bring the kiddo.

And something that Mass MoCA puts on. Maybe Pixies will be back.

I don’t go to a lot of concerts- but I have LA tickets for Oasis!!!

Now I just have to hope they stay together that long.

Tyler in Charlottesville early April

(Sturgill next week!)

I’m leaving for Vegas in a few hours to see the B52s at the Venetian.
They’re old, but they can still put on a great live show.

Saw the B52’s in New Orleans 20+ years ago, and they were really old then. But yes, they put on a fantastic fun show. The guy I was with had no idea who they were and he also enjoyed it. Have fun!

@Kid

Just scored Tyler Childers tickets in October here in Nashville. He’ll be playing at the soccer stadium - a good place for a show (saw Green Day there). Got tickets for both nights.

Trey Anastasio in milwaukee in march.

Bullet For My Valentine (Trivium opening) in Montreal, May. Meet and Greet, and Q&A tickets.

Dates have not been announced yet, but David Byrne, Iggy Pop, and Blondie have all said that they’re releasing new music in 2025 and going in the road

So, is Phish “Trey’s ‘Other’ Band” at this point?

I listened to their latest release and, although I did like it, it certainly lost the Phish-ness … or maybe I’d been away too long?

Any input would be welcome & appreciated; we were big fans before “The Hiatus” and kinda lost our way

(Yeah, I know what you’re thinking: “the Punk listened to Phish?” Henry Rollins has a huge Jazz & BeBop collection, so … nothing is off-limits)
